Councilor Robin Legg cannot get the officers to give him information, he should sack them for gross misconduct, unfortunately he probably hasnt got the guts to take the bull by the horn and remind these people that the councilors are the masters and the officers are the servants. Outside in the real world, if any other employee was asked by a corporate director for this type of information, and the employee refused to provide it, they would be sacked on the spot for gross misconduct. Unfortunatly Councillor Legg knows this only too well. He is employed as a senior solicitor, and senior officer in another councils legal department in south somerset. Some may say he could have a conflict of interest. Why is he mouthing in the local press?
